Shirt: Tramp, (via Buffalo Exchange) Jeans: Gap Necklace: Buffalo Exchange Gold Peep Toes: Macy's
I own one pair of jeans.
Just one.
These are them.
Gap 1969 Curvy in size 4s.
I am "blessed" with a large rear end and legs that can run,
so finding jeans has never been an easy thing.
and as much as I want to wear skinnies in every color, it's just not in the cards for this body.
so I'll stick to this one pair of jeans,
because I really don't mind just having one.
some look at me in shock and awe when I reveal my jeans "secret"
but for me, it works.
if any of you have a lower half like mine and have found colored/skinnies that work
I'd love to know!
how many pairs of jeans do you have? what kind are they?
is one pair of jeans crazy to you?
Holy Moly! I have too many pairs of jeans, but since I'm allowed to wear them to work, they're pretty much a party of my daily wardrobe. I could see how one pair would be plenty if you could only wear them on the weekends! I just bought my first colored skinnies at TJ Maxx!
ReplyDeleteI did have more in college, but now that I'm not really allowed to wear them, one pair does the trick! I'll be hitting up TJ for sure.
DeleteYou're crazy. You look so tiny...I'm sure colored skinnies and other jeans would look great on you!
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm now officially crazy.
DeleteI agree with what the person above me said--you're so tiny! If you find jeans that fit your rear but create a gap between the waistline and your back, that's a veryyyyyy easy and inexpensive alteration. I have to do that sometimes, because I'm also blessed in the rear section! It's a bit more effort to take it to a tailor, but way less effort than an endless search for the perfect pair of jeans.
ReplyDeleteNormally my issue is they fit my rear--but are way too tight on my tree trunk thighs. If I find any that just need the gap in the back adjusted, I will definitely take them to the tailor! Searching is the hard part!
DeleteI have the opposite problem - no butt. So in my jeans I can often grab a handful of fabric where butt is supposed to be. Still haven't found the perfect jean but i have a skinny jean from AE and a regular pair from Eddie Bauer that come close.
ReplyDeleteThe grass is greener? I've always thought it would be easier with no butt, but maybe not!
DeleteYou're SO cute! I have several pairs of the BDG skinnies from Urban Outfitters. They have a lot of stretch, which I love, and I'm partial to the high-rise. :)
